“Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart” – Mahatma Gandhi

Never think you are too old
to start something new.
Never think you are too young
to start something new.

“What people think in their hearts gets out, no matter how much they try to hide it.” ~Munshi Premchand

I’ve always been a hider—behind books, knitting needles, the camera, a smile. The older I get, the less I want or feel the need to hide. I’m new to this project, and I joined because there is no place to hide in a self portrait. This is way out of my comfort zone and will be a true challenge. I’m hiding no more!

“Then take it as far as you see and beyond
With eyes you don’t use enough to gather up strength;
As Thoroughfare Gap
What awaits is whatever you see
When you get there or even before;
It’s no matter. No distance. It’s the ride.” – Stephen Stills
