Lara Austin Shoop – I took a 15 minute walk. My first in months.  It’s almost fall.  My current medication, weekly low dose chemo & chemo infusions every 8 weeks is “working” slowing down the attack of my body against itself. Not curing, bandaging until my immune system gets feisty again. The most difficult challenge of these diseases for me is carrying them with me always, I don’t remember the last time I got to lay this shit down and just walk away, flipping the bird over my shoulder.
